How many pets do you have and what are they?

I have two dogs, and a hamster.

One dog is a Pitbull Rottweiler, and the other is a beagle. No connection there, :lol:.

The hampster is a tannish color, not sure on his type.

My pitbull is about six months old, and the beagle about ten years old.

Anthony - In Canada you do not need a permit to own sugar gliders but some cities do not allow marsupials. In the USA to own them you do not need a permit but to breed them you do. I am pretty sure the rest is like Canada some cities allow them others do not..depends on the bylaws.

Bobbi - Degus are a type of rodent orginally from Chile. They are about the size of a small guinea pig. I feed mine pellets, alfalfa hay, veggies and lots of fresh water. They like to run in a wheel and play. They are also very friendly.

Hi Anthony,

Well sugars gliders in the states I presume you would have to get through a licensed breeder or a licensed pet store. Very few pet stores in Canada carry them so not sure if in the States they would or not.

If you were talking about the degus most pet stores in Canada carry them now, but then again not sure about the States.

Here you can search people selling gliders and breeders as well by state and or country. Also place wanted ads.

There diet is very conterversal at the moment. Lots of people have different opinions on what to feed them. I have done lots of research and have switched from the BML diet to Darcy's diet. I feel this best suits their needs. My diet for them I use can be found here: Darcy's Diet

last time we got 5 bunnies,two dogs,3 hamsters and a cat....well the bunnies came out(didnt know what happen to them)hamster ate her babies,two got out then the on left died (prolly bcuz no one's with her)two dogs died last year bcuz they're old...only got the stray cat we found last january.

I used to have a cat a long time ago..

I'm sorry to hear about Sherbert, I hope he gets well!

I have 1 dog, a Golden Retriever named Sammy and alot of fish. In the past I have had 1 cat(my Lassie-- who I still miss), countless hermit crabs(they started getting named Laura I- then that died and the new one was Laura II... and so on), and lots of fish. I also fostered a squarle; after last years huricanes, a baby was left homeless with no mom so I raised it and succesfully released it. When I found it, it looked like a died rat; the local foster's had hundereds of them already and so we raised it.
