The Shade Tree is a local nonprofit here in Las Vegas that helps battered women and children get through rough times in their lives. Not only that they are one of the only nonprofits in the nations that have a pet shelter to house pets of these battered women and children as most women won't leave an abusive relationship without taking care of their pets.
