I have dropped about 40 of my speculative domains, and second tier .nets, and 3 most 3 word domains, about 10% of my portfolio, think I will drop another 30 as they come due, and keep the rest long term... I am seeing the trend of alot of names dropping especially .net .org .us, and .info's... registries must be suffering...

Yea, That is what I am seeing when I look up some of my domains via tlds across the board, godaddy keeps calling to reminding me to rewnew, and to upsell me, when I don't answer they send me an email saying my phone# is outdated, sorry GD I don't have time to listen to your upsell speech, enjoy your chopper parsons

Why would anybody let their domains drop when you can possibly get 50 cents or more back for each domain. There are always people wanting to buy crap names for $1 in bulk. The key here is realizing a few months in advance that your names are crap so you can sell them for a dollar. :)

Time is money, if you can afford to spend 30 mins communicating, paypaling, pusing domains, for 50 cents, is it worth it?

Around 400 or so...but i DO take the time to try and sell for a few bucks before letting them just drop....any recovery of the initial investment is wise I think heh ;)

Come this time next year going to be a lot of crappy huge drop lists lmao but some really good gems as well ;)

Oh yes, not having to worry about those renewal fees is liberating :)

You got to admit that getting those domains out of your portfolio makes you feel good. It will make the remaining domains look better too in one's portfolio.

I think I have dropped around 30-40 domain names.

Most of them high value keyword domain names, to try out a couple of ideas.

80% of them .info.

HI

The year is early... so far I have dropped like 10 maybe... and bought like 20 more.. LOL but I am still under 300 names and have been for a few years... I only reg if I think I can flip it.. or I think it makes typin traffic. or if it is something I want to develop in the future...

I do have like 40+ LLLL.net names with triple repeating letters.. thos I will not drop.. for at least 5 years...and then I think I can make a profit..

Thx
Tom

About 10 .infos and about 10-20 .com most of these are rubbish I picked up when first domaining just over a year ago. Would prefer to buy one or two strong domains in the aftermarket/ drops now than renew my 10 .infos and the .coms which I regged a year ago.
