There're a lot of domains dropped today

I am doing my regular homework filtering dropped domains today and I found 3-4 times more dropped domains today than regular days.
It took me 4 hours just filtering and not done yet. Does anyone notice that?

That would be "Domain Tasting" http://icannwiki.org/Domain_tasting

People register domains and delete them withing 5 days and only pay the 25 cent icann fee.
