I am totally newbie in domaining and related business. I just curious about " how long a new domain/website will be indexed at Search engine machine ? Any thumb tricks or tips (preferable free ) to get this one in short time?

Note that Bing/MSN can take longer to index some sites.

You can also submit to some of these sites. They get indexed by search engines (all free). Basically you are getting these sites to check your new website and hopefully the search engines will pick up the link.

There are no stead fast rules on how long a website will stay indexed. Each engine has its own rules on this. If you are actively building links to a page then it will likely stay indexed. This is a minor issue. I would like to suggest work on learning SEO and linking building for now. Also beware of advice given on forums many posters do not know what they are talking about they are merely repeating what others have said.

Very true! I just want to say the same thing that there is no particular system and rule that can tell you that your site will get indexed within 2-3 days or like that. But one thing I must tell you that with continuing all SEO practices start a blog at wordpress with regular unique posting. Link back your site from your suggested keywords and also ping the blog at least once in a week at pingler, pingoat and pingomatic. This process might help you to get your site indexed quickly.

I find forum signatures very useful in indexing new sites. I normally have my sites indexed within a week just by linking them from my signatures =)

a new domain can get indexed in as little as 10 minutes to might take weeks depending on how you promote it. if you submit to top social bookmarking sites, you will get your blog indexed fairly quick. if you submit your sitemap to google, it can take 1+ week to get indexed.

build several backlinks, your site would be indexed so quickly,you should add your url to search engines,submit sitemap,then submit your site to digg,mixx,etc.

You should keep a couple good domains established just to point traffic at your new domains. If you have a few PR 3, 4 and 5 domains established and pointed at the new guy, it should take between 12-24 hours to get indexed in Google.

You can use Google Webmaster Tools to submit a sitemap:

www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

Also, if you can get some quality backlinks for your site, then that will help to speed up the indexing rate.

Well, it takes 2- 3 months to be indexed. have a link to the quality sites to gain quality backlinks.

It boils down to the work you put into it, I have had new sites get not only indexed but also ranked well for certain keywords fairly fast. Again it boils down to the knowledge and skill you have and how you apply it to your site. Also it does not take no 2 to 3 months to get indexed you can get indexed within a week or less if done right.

That guy has provided a robust answer here that is spot on! People think just because they put up at site that it should somehow automatically be indexed and rank well without doing much of anything!
