I know alot of N.P.ers know exact dates on when LLLL's were sold out, etc.

My question to you is this...
What was the timeframe from when the last LLL.com was registered,
to the last LLLL.com?
How long did that opportunity last, to reg. LLLL's,
from when the LLL's were all gone?
Hope that ques. makes sense?

Thx Alot,
Red Rock!

Does it matter to you?

I think a couple of years, not sure. Just a pure guess.

Yeah it matters,
Or I wouldn't have started this thread!
So James, thanx 4 your concerned ques., and your guess.
LOL

I would assume that will be the same timeframe it will take
for all of the LLLLL's to be gone.
I was curious as to how long we would have to sit on LLLLL's
for the same results as LLLL's are getting now!

and by the way,
I wasn't sure of the title, so I stopped and wrote my ques.
then forgot to finish the title.
Whoops!

I think the LLL.coms sold out about seven or eight years ago. It has been a long time.

On a similar topic you may be interested in this chart:
http://dyyo.com/analysis_remaining.php
This shows the buyout of LLLL.coms from 100,000 left (March '06) to the end (Nov 2, '07). By that reading it will be a l-o-n-g time 'till LLLLL sell out.

Premium LLLL sold out in mid '06, CVCV probably a little before then.

Just an interesting note, because I think I know what your trying to figure out. Consider how many combinations of letters there are between the 3 categories youve mentioned:

LLL.com - 17,576
LLLL.com - 456,976
LLLLL.com -11,881,376

Although im not sure the exact dates, but lets just say for the sake of using a reasonable number the buyout of all LLLL.com's took 7 years from the buyout of the last LLLL.com's. It took 7 years to register almost 500,000 domain names. Although I dont forsee it going at the same buyout pace, but if it did - We'd be looking at 500,000 be regged every 7 years, it would take over 100 years at that pace, to buyout all of those domains.

My bet is that wont ever happen, or atleast not in our lifetimes. Think about how much it would cost just to sit on those, waiting for a possible End-User?

Justin Whoa!
Wow, You just put my mind in a whole new perspective on these...LLLLL's.
when you look at it that way (thru the actual number's formula),
My attention to these will be alot less.
Well, they are going to have to jump out at me as...Brilliant,
for me to hand reg. these, now.
Very excellent bit of info!
Thx 4 stopping by,
and sharing your knowledge!
