not even a 1 at present

LLL are the best way to assess an extension

LLL.com are $3k+, LLL.us are $100+ so thats 30 times

if .com is 10 then .us is 0.33

give it a few months and it will be at 0.5 and prob in a year it will be at 1

The interesting thing is that Matt has .us out-pacing .com. I concur.

However, to base the points on current value is silly. We should base an investment on current vs. future. Matt, by saying that LLL.us will be worth 1/10th of LLL.com in a year when it's 1/3rd now... you're actually saying you'll make 3X more money investing in LLL.us for a year than you will investing in LLL.com!

IMHO, that makes .us worth 30 points, and .com worth 10!

What increases in LLL.com value have we seen this year? I haven't done that research.

The research I have done is in the increase in the LLL.us market. I've compiled this research based on a sample of 19 LLL.us names of varying quality I bought and sold this year. A small sample, I know. I'll release the research on the larger sample I have when it's a bit more conclusive. All names were bought this april, all names were sold this december.

Average buying price in April: $31
Average selling price in December: $152
Percentage increase: 490%

I'm sure similar percentage increases existed at some point for LLL.com, but not anymore. LLL.us is playing a good game of catch up.

i think it depends how you interpret the question

and yes i do think .us is outpacing .com by quite a rate in LLL

.com still has alot more end user potential but resellers prices are moving %wise more in the .us market

I think it really depends on what type of .com and .us domains we are talking about, but I would say somewhere under one, with the potential (and likelihood in my opinion) that .us could rise to 1-2 within the next year. I don't think any extention is really above a 5 compared to .com, with most being 1's or 2's, so if .us can get here soon, it really should start to take off even further with resellers, end users, and the American market.
