You have to keep in mind that domaining is really a sales job. No different than selling used cars or selling vacuum cleaners. It is creating value for your client.

In doing so, I wanted to share with you an article that you may find interesting. It is a good read with some good points even though much of the article is focused on face-to-face sale.

One important note that you have to keep in mind selling: You have to get through all the No's to get to the one Yes. It is the Law of Averages. "Act as if..."

One thing that all these expects don't seem to mention is knowing when to close. I know of a few salesmen who have lost a sale because they carried on selling after the client had agreed to buy. Once he's agreed, then get his pen onto the paper, don't try to convince him that he has made the right decision, and make him rethink.
