How Do You Sell Your Brandables Outside Marketplace Such as Brandbucket or Namerific?

I notice that some members here have had their domains rejected at either brandbucket or namerific but they were still able to sell the same names to end users.

My question is, how do you search for these buyers considering that the domains are mere made up words and as such, using google may not likely yield desired results.

I will appreciate any input.

I guess, sometimes at namstation users request brandables to domainers. you can look for websites that are using a long name and offer them the opportunity to re-brand to something shorter and catchy.

I think your name will sell depending of the quality :)

if they are good, endusers will find you

I list some (and sold) on GD premium listings.

in these type of domains, you need to made up something with end users in mind or specifically end buyers of it. prospecting is best as well even in domains.

I've just sold one through Sedo after the name got rejected from BB and Namerific. It all depends of the quality of the name.

It's hard to really do proactive selling of openly brandable domains. Buyers will come to you or find them on marketplaces. The only time you really can is if there are existing companies using similar, significantly worse names (like your brandable + a word).

I'm curious to know how much you got for it.
On BB and Namerific they are sold for good money.

Hi

brandables were being sold long before those sites ever existed.

and most were sold because a "buyer" contacted the "owner".

for the leverage, we wait

imo...

Sold it for $750. Regged it a few months back with a GD coupon.
