yes i'm sorry confused about the concept of blog ads dot com you have to pay up front for the ads?

My hosting company is go daddy and i have a lot of domains i can use but i guess i'm just lost on word press it says download and i did that now what?

You will need to do some reading to understand how it works, and in the long run it will pay off if you learn how to do the steps yourself.

If you have go daddy hosting it's easy to set up. Go to your hosting panel and you will see a place for it to install applications. Go through the list (on left) where it says blogs, and pick wordpress. Tell it where you want wordpress and it will install it for you.

Once it's installed (you should get an email when it's ready) go to the actual url where you told the blog to be installed.. for instance, yourdomain.com/WhateverDirectoryYouChoseForBlog

then log in where it says admin and mess around in there to check out all your options.

You don't need anything else to actually write with wordpress, but there are loads of great free themes and plugins all over the net.

setting up a wordpress blog for the first time can be quite difficult but once you have done it the first time it gets easier from then on :D

I just went through this entire process for a series of websites I am creating...You can see some of them listed at this site...www.mydressworks.com. They are being built now.
I have many other websites I am going to develop also.
I knew absolutely nothing about how to do this when I started. I am NOT technical at all...I stunned myself by figuring this out
Basically you need to get hosting and a domain name.
Get a host that offers one click installation of WordPress. Many offer this.
Next install the WordPress and then pick and install a different theme, if you dont like the standard ones. You install the themes through CPanel. Once you figure out how..it takes seconds.

Finding a theme can be a challenge. I tried out dozens of themes before making a selection..its an easy process once you understand it.

Warning!!! Be very careful surfing the net for themes, hosting and domain discount codes. I got several viruses during this process. I did find a discount code and use that on GoDaddy and dont look for others because of the viruses I got while surfing. If you want the code PM me. I ran spy check on my computer frequently.
