From 10 domains to 1000's how are you guys monitoring your domains from theft and dns/whois changes?

That must be quite time consuming?By looking at the computer screen with my eyes
So it's a family affair to share the responsibility? Sound like a great plan. That's what my wife did.
yes, i have been there, then I realized that the data is static in a spreadsheet, nothing is realtime. I've had nameserver changed without my permission, DNS changes to steal the traffic from my PPC landers so I built myself a solution. Open sourced it, if you are a little bit technically incliend you should be able to run it on your local pc, doesn't have realtime alerts but it's a better option than excel, IMO. DM me and I'll send you the link.I tried to build few tools but with time I found that a simple dashboard using an excel sheet is good enough

Time consuming? LOL, what do you mean? After I have bought, listed and priced a domain name, there's nothing more to do for 12 months. That must be quite time consuming?
I hear you. This was my thought process in the early days, buy/change dns/collect $ from ppc/renew, what I did not anticipate was I had domains that people wanted but did not want to pay to buy them, so they tried to steal them, social engineering, DNS poisoning to steal traffic they've tried all there is under the sun to get my domains/traffic for free. Spreadsheet was the way to go and it would take me almost the whole day to make sure everything is in working order, heck Google sheets was god sent where I could hire couple of people remotely to monitor them manually on a daily basis. Write scripts and then run them, did that too. I believe that just like a home i needed to minitor my assets which made me revenues.Time consuming? LOL, what do you mean?
