Any new businesses that I've had discussions with, know how to find you, not the other way around. Lets face it, they are generally of the internet savvy generation 20s to 30s age. They are also very willing to let you know they are a new business start-up in the hope of keeping the negotiations cheap. They do tend to have a real passion about the name they want to run with. But, once they know it's not going to be obtainable at $xxx, they tend to add just a prefix letter and hand-reg, (rather than change the naming they want). You can only hope they are really successful and come back in a couple of years
