How do I hire Twitter posters without giving login information?

Part of my business plan is to hire someone to Twitter for me. I thought about having them do it from their Twitter account, but I really think it's better if they did it from my website's Twitter account. The problem (that might be obvious) is I could be hiring someone I hardly know. I'd hate to have built up a good Twitter following (I don't want to spam), and then have someone hijack my account or change the password or something like that. So, how could I do this without giving password details?

I should also mention that I am a total Twitter newb.

You could use a Wordpress site, then use a Feed -> Twitter converter. So that when the person making the twitter post makes a post on your wordpress site it will update your blog

Just remember to limit the number of characters to like 140, else it will not display correctly in Twitter.

I haven't tried this, but I can't see why it shouldnt work

Good thought SeanPreston. Drupal has a similar module that I think I could use.

In my opinion, if you can't trust your employee, then you hired the wrong person. That said, and as was mentioned, the Wordpress option should work just fine

Well, I would say that you can use other sites to post to twitter account without actually giving away your password.

Other sites like no_url_shorteners which I use to both post and track links. You can create an account and then link it to your twitter account using Oauthenication or password authenication.
I prefer the Oauthenication as this is a one time setup to which you agree to allow another site access to your twitter account.

I also use tweetlater.com to post to twitter as well. This site allow you to schedule your tweets which is helpful for internet marketers.
