How do I get on page 1 of Google? (Ranking 12)

Hello everyone,

I have a website that I have created and I have wrote articles, & placed lots of backlinks. I am currently falling on page two of google (rank 12) I need to bump it at least three more spots to reach page 1. How can I do this? Any suggestions?

have you tried optimizing your META tags? That factor is very important if you really want to rank high in search engines.

I just did today. Can you take a look at it and see what you think? I am going for best dropshipper for my rankings. I noticed I didnt have the commas in between the keywords so I added them. Also the title was just Best Dropshipper so I changed that also. I even noticed that my title and keywords were the same for all pages so I fixed that as well.

Hopefully it will move up. What do you think?

Actually, the best example and reference are those sites on top of your targeted keyword, study their site, their content, their backlinks and come up with the same or better than theirs'..

Yep would agree with wishbone RE: looking at sites on the first page, particularly in terms of navigation, and try to mirror that on your site. You also might want to make better use of your title tags. Put your main keywords in there.

Track the strategy of your top ten competitors and try get the back links from same sites.

Often time lot of sites are struggling just because most of their back-links have not been indexed by Google yet. My advice for you is to have an index checker tool in order for you to check what links that have been indexed and what have not been indexed yet.

In that way you'll know what to do with those back-links that have not been found yet by Google. Building back-links from authority website is crucial, but getting those back-links indexed is as much important as building them.

You need to work step by step if its on number 12, first target top 10, then top 5, top 3 and eventually #1. You need to regularly put fresh content there & build high PR links.
