One of my domain name which I was using as a redirect to one of my urban serice site recently disapeared and I notice it was being redirected to some search page now. The other weird thing about it is that it shows that person owned it since 2001 until now when I was the only original owner since that date because if you check archive.org, you will see I was the only owner.

Now, the domain is with registerfly and this is not the second time I am having problem with these guys and I think that does it and I will be moving all my domains from them to godaddy. Long time ago, I renew about 12 of my domains and they told me the renew didn't go through. I check with my bank and my bank told me they charged me. I try to contact registerfly for about 5 days and no help until I posted my story on here and regfly PM me and renewed them for me. Now, I think during the process of him doing that, he said he will do it in a certain way and I recieve emails as if I just register those domains. Now, I think he must have drop one of my domain and now someone else have it.

I sign up for whois.sc domain history thing and record shown that my domain was never expired because I have all my domains with them on auto renewal. Record also didn't show any transfer of that domain name.

Now, the reason why I haven't noticed it until recently is because I only use that domain as a redirect to one of my other site.

I contact registerfly about it and they told me they dont have anything to do about it and I need to contact the new owner.

I contacted the new owner and he still haven't reply to me for over a week now.

WHAT DO I DO?? I NEED MY DOMAIN BACK.

please help.

Does it appear that the new owner is Registerfly? When they renew now, they process a transfer from enom where they were a reseller, to registerfly as a new ICANN registrar. I've found in doing so, they change all the whois info to themselves, so they can approve the transfer without your involvement. Sometimes they also change the DNS to their parking servers.

The sad part is that they never change the whois or DNS back to your name. If you find it, you have to do it yourself. if you don't find it, you may not get your next renewal email.

If this isn't the case, then this sounds like a mess to be straigtened out by NP user "regfly". He's about the only person there that seems to be able to do anything complicated or requiring a management decision.
