How Do I Contact a Parked Domain Owner?

Well, I found a few domain name that have been registered and parked, and I'd really like to buy them. However, like most other parked domains, there is no contact email or anything of the sort. I thought that when people park domains, it was mainly to "reserve" it to sell at a higher price (while receiving some money from clicks during the wait). What's the point if people can't even contact you?

I did a whois search, but like most domains, the emails are hid from the public, or the emails are actually the registrar emails, or the emails are trash registrar emails where you never get a response.

I really want to buy them... any ideas?

Try the email again, but slap an $offer in the email. It might not be as dead as you think.
Try calling them.
Try faxing them.
Try mailing them.
If none of the information is good research it. archive.org might have a version of the site if it was ever developed with contact info.
Where there is a will there is a way.

Why not just go to a registrar and make an offer. Let them do the contact. Most registrars have an "Offer on any domain" thing.

If you have membership at DomainTools, you should also do a whois history check to see if the name was only recently made private. This have proved beneficial to me in the past depending on what extension.

Most parking pages have contact link (enquire about this domain) to the owner, which usually works

If you're that interested, use network solutions certified offer service - when they have an incentive to find a seller, they probably have more resources at their disposal to track down the owner than you do.
Also try checking to see if the domain is listed at Sedo or Afternic.

Mainly Yes, but not always - If the name is making a fortune in PPC then they are probably not wanting to sell anyway and don't want to be bombarded with "how much ?" emails, hence why the hide their details. :|

If you cannot find any contact details then maybe you could check to see if it is listed for sale at the likes of sedo, afternic, greatdomains etc.

Where is it currently parked ?
