Hi all,

Hope all fellow members are doing good.

Couple of months ago I started a thread here by the title; "How to Sell Domains Fast - Marketplace or Own Site".

I really appreciate the responses I've received from fellow members. And fortunately I was able to come up with a decision (was also determined about it though, lol) to launch my own domain portfolio site.

So the good news is that my site is almost ready to be launched. It's in A/B testing mode right now with few content fulfillment, and hopefully will be live by the end of this week.

The reason of starting this thread is that I was hoping to find out what type of online marketing strategy should I adopt to spread the word out about my site and to bring it in front of right audience. I need to learn things specifically related to "domaining" perspective. Like how and where do market domains/domain portfolio site to get results?

I know SEO and the whole Internet Marketing thingy. But from domaining point of view, which route would be appropriate, effective and result-oriented in your view?

My options:
- SEO Marketing (already working on it)
- Content Marketing (planning to work on it too)
- Social/Business Networking (I think of it as a solid approach, but have less to no clue how to go with it)
- anything you want to add?

Cheers,

getting folks to look at a site isn't the problem....it's what they'll see once they get there

then after visit, will they ever come back?

so, no matter how pretty the colors are or how crisp the site looks, if the names are crappy.....

Good Luck!

imo...

Thanks mates, but I was looking for a "general" advice here in terms of bringing my site in front of the right audience.

@biggie agree with you mate. And that is exactly why I want to learn to market the site to the right audience. Regarding having crappy domains, don't we all love our names!!! hehehe. I do believe (like every domainer) that my domains are fair if not great. And besides, it's just marketing tactic I am more concerned at this point.

Secondly, like I mentioned in my original post that I belong to the SEO field so I know things and how they are done in the SEO world, but when it comes to Social Media and networking, do put a couple of suggestions (in detail; if you can) so that I can get them right.

NOTE: My portfolio site represents tech related domains mostly. So any ideas how to go about it?

Many thanks again for your thoughts. Keep them coming...
