How accurate do you think this tool is? (You can see SEO Score under stats). I guess it doesn't mean much, but I have a few (own developed sites) that get quite a lot from 85% - 92% and am just curious to know.

Also after some research I think it is quite accurate since it's not hard to programmatically detect if a site has good on site optimization.

Thanks for any answers

:D Yeah :) Most of my sites are above 90 and some even have 100% score. But nothing better then proper backlinks :) I just feel happy for a moment if it shows 100% score. Other then that it is not a scale for measuring the success in the search engine.

I know that it isn't, but I think there could be a more accurate tool that would tell you if you have good on site optimization (meta tags, keywords, links, headers [h1,..], bold text, domain, etc).

There isn't a better tool then the search engine itself. You have to try and do whatever is needed to be #1.

Tools don't know the algorithms of search engines.

I think that rating just gives you an idea of how well the keywords relate to the domain and the page. As an automated thing it's better than nothing, but there are lots of tools like this.

Frankly, do your keyword research with Google's keyword tool or another that shows search numbers to find ALL the keyword phrases that relate to your site; optimize your tags and site content with the results as much as possible, as long as you use good English; and submit your site to as many places as possible like directories and search engines. I think you will be happy with the results.

I think they only check title tag and meta tags.
