.HOMES re-released

I received in a Uni Newsletter that .HOMES has been released without restrictions. Did anyone else see that and try to register any domains. It was tough going. Most were already taken or very premium prices from the registry. I did manage to get OFFSHORE and LAKESIDE for discounted reg fee

Whilst I was searching. I found RETAIL.DOMAINS available, so took that too

Thanks I actually searched camper first And was surprised..then for fun and comparison searched camp and was shocked ....the registry deff got that one backwards, and I’m not complaining.

Noob question,but when i looked up at register.homes it says only real estate players or relative real estate website can only be built for this domain.Is that true? .homes registration has such restrictions to its use?

Dominion Registries policy updates for .HOMES TLD

Norfolk, VA – January 14, 2019 – Dominion Registries, a division of Dominion Enterprises, is pleased to announce changes to the registration policy for .Homes TLD. We have removed the registrant eligibility requirements previously defined in the .Homes Registration Policies. This means that .Homes domain names will be available to everyone, without the need for verification. These changes are effective beginning 16:00 UTC on January 14, 2019. The new registration policies will be posted here.

Also Claims Trademark Period for .Homes registry will end at 00:00 UTC on April 15, 2019. This means that all domains for .Homes TLD will be available for registrations during General Availability (GA) and no trademark/claims notices will be required for any .Homes domain registration.

It's taken. All 1 character domains will automatically be premium.

they tried to tag all the best names as premium but i'm thinking some dandy keywords got past them.with some imagination and research people can reg them for a fair price,and that's a good thing.

These are quite good registrations. I would just advise, that any registration with .homes is going to be a long term registration for it to pay off. IMHO, these will not be a quick fIips within a year. I see you registering quite a few of these registrations, and urge you to be mindful of the $30 renewals next year. Because if you decide to drop your registrations at that point, then you are wasting your money on these registrations. This is a warning to all of us. I'm not picking you out. Your post just just brought this thought, to the fore.

I just reg'd two more as well...i have an even dozen now to the tune of $180. Have plans to work with a local realtor (member of NAR) and builder (member of NAHB). National Home Builders Association is back in Vegas this year for the first time in a few years. I'd highly recommend you try to get your .home domains exposure directly to realtors and builders. All good stuff....not only is the market for these names HUGE, there's literally Billions of $$$ generated annually by realtors and builders. Sure .com is king, but the .homes extension should be very appealing to those "end users" who know they exist.

It's pretty ironic that weatherproof.homes is valued at <$100 by GD, and hundreds of millions of dollars are spent each year weather proofing homes, not just in the US, but around the world
