I purchased a .info domain sometime last year from a registrar in England. Since then I have received nothing but trouble from them and I would like to transfer my domain to another registrar. I have set up an account with dotster and have started the domain transfer process. It sent out the authorization email aout 5 days ago. Now I get a reponse from dotsters (do not reply) email bot saying that they have received no response from the administrative contact and cannot proceed with the transfer. Of course they are receiving no reponse because my old registrar put themselves as the admin contact and would not let me change it. Now It looks like the old ones get to keep my domain :? . I thaught that the ICANN action made it so if you do not receive a response whithin 5 days that it is automatically approved? Is dotster violating this law? But most importantly, how do I get my domain back from them???
Any help would be appreciated,
George
