Good Morning,
3-4 years ago I started testing out shopify in order to learn a bit while I tried to build an essential oil diffuser eComm store. In doing so, I purchased essentialO2.com. While cleaning up the spam folder I came across a cease and desist email from a law firm in the UK who represents a large mobile communications company (O2).
This email came as a shock because for one, I'm from the US and never heard of this company. I'm not too worried because the email was from 2018 and I didn't purchase this domain with the intent to cybersquat or make a profit off of their name or trademark. My domain name essentialO2.com stood for Essential Oxygen Too. I never launched the site and the domain name has just been sitting in my account.
Is this a scenario where i should just give them the domain name? Leave it be? It's been 3 years and I haven't heard anything. Or, is this something i can offer to sell them?
Kind Regards
