Hello everyone!
My I am new to domaining and have been researching on the same since the past month or so.
Here are a few things which I would like to discuss with NamePros community!
I have been doing some research on 5 letter domains and we all know that in near future all pronounceable 5 letter combinations will be taken, just like what happened with 4 letter domains.
But the real question is when? And how we can benefit from it (by starting early).
As we all know that there's 11.8 million possible combinations for the 5 letter domains. Which are a lot of domains! But the possible CVCVC combinations are only 231,526 & VCVCV are 55,125. And if I count only the "premium letters" then these number further go down to like one fifth of them.
So, by keeping that in mind, would it be safe to assume that if we were to hold at least a handful of great pronounceable 5 letter domains in the above format and we renew it each year for about 5-10 years (I know it's a lot, but hear me out) then maybe we can really profit a lot from them?
As I have observed with the 4L domains, some of the really good ones were available for hand registering back in 2004-2005, so if I had registered those domains and kept renewing for 10 years, I would have easily made a huge profit. It might have made me a millionaire too!
Thanks for reading. I am open to all kind discussions, sharing ideas, etc. And by the way, I am an active seller on Flippa, just new to the domain world.
Anyway, such a great and informative forum! :D
Regards,
Shahil
