Been in domains for a couple years but i'm starting to get more serious.

What was your experience or your general thought on buying high appraised expired domains in high volume and selling them right away for low getting $5-$10 profit each?

The sell-through rate is too low for that type of a margin.

You would need a near 100% STR, and would need to sell thousands of domains to make serious money.

Even if you sold them all, you would only make like $1 per hour for your time. But there is no way you would sell them all, so you would lose money and be working for free.

I don't have experience in buying high appraised expired domains in high volume and selling them right away for low profit margins, but I'm used to make business plans and I have an idea of the amount of sales you can expect, and what you're suggesting doesn't sound like a sustainable business.

Though I'm no expert, I'm trying to start a business (nothing to do with domaining) that makes just enough to survive (and a little extra), meaning tight margins, because I'm evolving in a very competitive market, and I'm more expensive than the current competition (I'm differentiating myself through my offerings).
