Tried to use PayPal today to pay for an eBay auction, and I get this little message:
"Why is my account access limited?
Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):
Jan. 14, 2005: In accordance with the PayPal User Agreement, your account has been closed. If you feel that we have closed your account in error, please contact PayPal Customer Service.
Your funds may be held for 180 days from the date of your last transaction. After 180 days, you will be able to access your funds by requesting an online bank transfer or, if applicable, a check from PayPal.
(Your case ID for this reason is ________________.)"
So informative?
Nah.
So surprising?
Nah.
Anyone get anything like this before? The only thing not-typical I can think of that I've been doing is using "shop-safe" numbers so that they never have a real working card again (I had my account hacked and thousands of dollars taken and PayPal did absolutely nothing to help.).
