Someone just sent me an email asking how much I would sell GayIdeas.com for. I have no idea what its worth? Any suggestions?

no offers in the past, the name just dropped a few weeks ago and I grabbed it

start high......................................................You can always go lower never will be able to get more than your first offer.

Same thing happened to me with a domain I had know idea what to ask for and had only had it 3 months. sent a relply saying to make an offer and that my last offer was $1250. Ended Up at $1400.

I'd start at $15k and work down. If the guy is really serious, that figure shouldn't scare him/her away.

what would you consider high? $25k? lower? higher?

Well, honestly gayideas.com will definitely not sell for over $10k. So why not start at $10k (come on, be reasonable.. if you start out with like $25k they might think YOU're not serious) and work your way down.

Was it from someone who signed their email PhD ?
Make sure that if they ask you to get an appraisal after you write back, that you DON'T.
