Help! When does a domain actually expire/become available?

So there's this domain I want...
It expired on/about December 31st, 2008 according to WHOIS.
It's still not deleted/available to register yet! It's still in pendingDelete.

When will it be available to register?

Quite a coincidence you found the domain in my dropped list topic, this makes me even more sure I catch all short daily deleted domains

It depends on rgistrar, each company has its own policy on domains expired!
