HELP- sold fabulous reg name to a non domainer.

I had an offer on a name I registered at Fabulous. Accepted offer. Buyer is a non domainer.

HELP how do I transfer the name to the new owner?

If is was a name with GoDaddy i know I could just get them to get a free account and godaddy and push the name over.

Last name sold from my Fabulous registered ones was with a Name Solutions cert. offer and they transferred the name out of fabulous .

Interesting , to date, I have only sold 3 names. Never sold one on Sedo or Afternic.
The 3 sales have been first contact from buyer a phone call and then a offer by email.

HELP what is the best way to do this transfer??

Thanks everyone in advance.

I learn heaps reading this message board and it keeps my interest in domains going.

Thanks everyone :sold:

You can make a free account on fabulous, the prices are ridiculous for renewal and registration but pushing it from account to account is fre

Iravan is correct. Just get the person to open a free account with Fabulous. Make sure you find out what their username is going to be.
Then go into Fabulous and click on Manage. Once you get to the Manage screen, you'll see a link for Transfer/Push. Under Push, you'll need to enter the person's username and the domain you will be pushing from your account. Click Continue. That's it.

Hi dochlaggie,

Glad to hear you got the domain transferred. In future, if you require assistance with transfers or account enquiries in general, feel free to contact [email protected], they are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Or simply drop me a PM.

Cheers,

I am a Fabulous user, and this thread brings up one of the two flaws I see with fabulous.com.

First, many of us who use fabulous are portfolio owners and traders. I love the management tools, parking and sales lead tools, and the prices are extremely competetive. However, even though I get domains for $.xx less than enom, with enom I can push the domain to a sub account as a reseller and continue to earn the difference in cost on just one domain renewal at the $10 price range, or even more if the buyer hosts or uses other enom services. Some buyers have purchased from me and then registered or transferred in several other similar names. I wish Fabulous allowed portfolio owners to have private label reseller sub-accounts for growth after the sale.

The second shortcoming of Fabulous (although off-topic) is not having support for .us and .biz domains. I can understand not having .ws or .cc...but us/biz are mainstream TLD's, with .biz being a gTLD and .us one of the top 2 or 3 English language ccTLD's.
