Help! needed w/ transfer of .es domain ownership

I am hopeful someone here can help me out. I recently purchased a .es domain (here at np), the domain is registered at idotz.net. When the domain was pushed into my account at idotz, I updated the contact information. The contact information is currently updated on the idotz site but not at the .es registrars site, therefore a whois search still places ownership of the domain with the previous owner. This has been going on for nearly two weeks now. I contacted idotz.net support but they pretty much told me there is nothing they could do, that instead a transfer of ownership for a .es domain must be initiated through the .es registry by the parties to the transaction. My question is, has anyone ever transferred ownership of a .es domain? Is idotz correct? Can anyone provide guidance on how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, idotz is correct.
I sold one .es domain and it was fax echange w/ ESNIC. I sent 2 faxes. And the buyer AFAIK sent 2 faxes.
