Help Need with music files on web site

I need a little help. I have some music clips to upload to a friends web site (it's his music). The music clips are in MP3 format. I know how to create a link for the music but my question is: Do I have to speify a type of player to play the music on? On my own computer it has Real Player so that's what any music I have plays on.

It will play on default player marked by the user on his/her computer or a player that supports that format.

Most of the players supports MP3 format.

If you don't want copies of the music available for redistribution, you could always look for a streaming script or site mp3 player.

Check hotscripts etc.
