The two options are:

nutritionquestions.com
nutritionask.com

The first one is a nice keyword phrase, and easy to remember. The second is snappier and more brandable. Which one would you be more likely to click a link to, and more likely to tell friends about who were interested in nutrition?

I think the first one suggests a list of questions that have already been answered and that the visitor can go through.
The second, instead, gives the idea that YOU ( the visitor ) can ask so it seems more personal. I would go with the second one

I never thought of that, thanks photonmymind. Indeed, questions are static, but asking is an action. So that's a definite edge to the second one.

I think the first one stands out visually and phonetically.

Both are good. But i think i would click the NutritionQuestions before Nutritionask that's just me though.

Kind of depends on development etc too.

Aw shucks, I was hoping to get a couple of the same responses :)

NutritionQuestions was my first hunch, since I can see someone typing both of those words into google, or being like "Oh I have a QUESTION about NUTRITION, let me click on that!"

A good number of people seem to prize the snappiness of the shorter name though.

I might just develop both and see which gets more traffic, but it's good to know that someone else prefers NutritionQuestions.

Of the two you propose... I'd go with NutritionQuestions. NutritionAsk is too abrupt and harsh sounding.

And here are some more which are all available to hand reg (most of which I like better than the two above for brand-ability):
NutritionAtlas
NutritionButler
NutritionCraze
NutritionPod

Good luck!

Questions for me too. There you now have multiple support for questions and one support for ask. Which one would you choose?

Now I'm stuck again. All good reasons, nutritionask is a bit abrupt. Hmmm, might have to go with whichever has a slight edge from the crowd's responses.

No, they won't type that on Google (well, not that many). They will immediately type their question right away.

Such as "how do i lose weight?", or "best sugar alternative".... and so forth.

Depending on how Google ranks you based on "content", people will click whatever comes up at the top of the search results. And if your website is very engaging and deep, they will bookmark your site whatever domain you are using. In fact, when user's bookmark you, the popular browsers will show the TITLE of your website, not your domain name. So make sure you put a catchy and descriptive website title.

To answer your domain question, choose anything that sounds sensible to you. Do a teenie-meenie-miny-moe. But not "butler". And definitely not "craze" or any word that resembles a hint that you might be insane and therefore, not trustworthy of giving advice on nutrition.

Okay, so nutritionpsycho.com is out :)

I posted on a couple forums, and it's about 70% in favor of nutritionask.com. So I'll develop both, but start with nutritionask, and see what shakes out. Thanks for the insight!

NutritionAsk is better and it's not even close.

Stop looking at it as a domainer. NA is shorter, prompts action, and brandable. NO is too long and overkill.

Go with NA and don't look back.

It looks like you have a lot of experience with this stuff. Since NutritionAsk has more going for it, I'll run with it. Huzzah!

For me, NutritionQuestions sounds better. NutritionAsk just sounds wrong grammatically and doesn't make sense..however it could be branded and it does imply that you ask questions, maybe even live q&a would be cool.

All and all I would go with NutritionQuestions.

Answers / Facts / Info would be better... they imply the information is actually available to read.

But if you need it to be one of those two, ask is by far the best. Ask suggests you will get a reply. Questions could just be a list of unanswered questions, or something that was questioning the role of nutrition.

If you are an End-User, you should also try to examine the domain in LOWERCASE letters. Because that's how browsers and search engines display them. And that is how humans will read your domain on first impression.

People who do the "NutritionAsk" uppercase/lowercase combos, are marketing people who are selling goods and trying to make it look attractive.

Try to read the domain in all lowercase, and see if it feels right to you.
