Hello - I've been skulking around in the marketplace all week and thought it well and truly time I came and officially said hello. I joined to buy a certain domain - which the seller eventually re*****d on - as it turns out!
I did get sucked in by the fast pace and high energy here though, and have been on a bit of a spending spree since.... can see how this place could become very addictive.
Anyway I'm from Australia and am obsessed with domains (all those I buy have brilliant ....and I definitely will this time) development plans
I have around 150 in a 10 months. Most of my absolute favourites are of little value to anyone else and the highest value rasie the least passion... mine are mostly .com.au's, which is an interesting little section of the domaining world I hope will open up to those of you outside of OZ soon.
Wanted to ask everyone what their favourite type of domains and ext are and what you have little or no interest in or a type you will not buy no matter what!
LLLL? NNNN? TwoWordKeywords? Geo? Think it tells a lot about you - just not sure what!
Mine are single dictionary words, not necessarily commonplace ones
mascara.something
flesh.something
svelte.something
and "plays" on words from cliches or poems(for some reason?!?)
(too obscure and therefore anonymity robbing to list any)
I'm a bit stuck up for the superiority of .com (and .com.au) (but conversely prefer.info to .net or others in many cases). I struggle to get excited about the numbers NNNN despite the valuations and am usually really put off by hyphens.
Ok enough about me - I think you get the picture, or certainly are bored stupid by now. What about your favourites?
