Hi,

The bounty for this will be $30 plus a sitewide link in the footer of the site (something like Header Graphic designed by Blah)

I've got a mock up of the sort of thing I'm looking for, and it should be attached to this message. The whole look of the thing should be cartooney, but if you think you can do a good photo design, then give it a go. There's two cats (or cat+kitten) on the left and a dog with its tongue out on the right. Both peering through green reeds. The main text in the middle says "Pause for Paws" and should have the ".co.uk" near it.

The size of it should be... well, it's to fit the blue area on this:

You can go outsite the blue area if your artisic needs feel that way, but not outside the boundries of the whole image. Any questions, then please do ask.

Cheers,

Chris

Okay, hows about longer grass, the images less "blued" out, the cat pictures about 75% the size they are now (dog is fine)

Oh, and I quite like the random fence in there! :)
(Although it's in front of the text).

Oh, and something slightly less futureistic for the slogan font!

Um, yes, the text to be centered, if if it goes over the images.

Thanks!

statd::
- we like this one, very much what we're looking for and unique

HHDomains::
- really good. can you flip the dog on the verticle axis?
- and lighten up the darker side of him
- also, I'd like to see what the PauseforPaws looks like in white with a black haze (if haze is the right word!)

vip-ip::
- its good, but not really what we're looking for and somehow doesn't bind together well, I'd like the animals to actully seem link there are there, if that makes sense?

In fact, that's true with all the nearly all photo style ones.

slaydragon::
- This makes me laugh, but not really what we're looking for. Thanks for trying.

I don't think I've missed anyone.

Also, I've had great fun looking at the entries, and would love to make a page about choosing the logo on my website. So if you'd like me to talk about your entry on that page (and use the image there), then can you each give me permission? I'll link to your own websites for the article, so would be good publicity for you.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi Chris,

Here's my entry. 100% vector artwork. Everything can grow/shrink, color change, etc without any loss on quality.

Haven't really dealt with graphic design in years, except for a couple of banners. Let me know what you think, I had fun with this one.

The images would need to be purchased from iStockPhoto.com. Right now I'm using their watermarked .jpgs which don't scale very clean and have fuzzy dots. Final product would be a lot cleaner

(final image size would, of course, be drastically reduced)

Hi,

guetizo:: Can you tell me why you removed your entry? I really liked it.

HHDomains:: thanks, I can't think of anything else to fix

SB_GEMINI:: like it, like the placement of the .co.uk and the text, and the dog. I'd prefer full bodied cats though

azt:: I like it a lot, especially the doggy. Not to happy with the cats, they don't look together, does that make sense? How much will the imagary cost to purcahse that makes up the image?

Right. I'll be announcing a winner midday GMT tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for the excellent entries!

Each animal costs $3.00, the grass costs $1.00, so if you chose my design, I'd still be getting $20.00, so that's be fine.
That's all of the cartoon animals I could find from Istock, I will look around other sites and possibly find ones that go together, as you said. Might even find some nice free ones.

Did you mind the grass going across, instead of shorter in the middle like you mentioned? I wanted to put the slogan in the grass, and having it all the same height made it look better to me.

Also, how did you like the color of the slogan? Kind of hard to choose a color which stands out from the grass, but doesn't clash with the other colors. I thought about making a white box to put the slogan in, but that chops up the image too much.

Glad you liked the dog, I just thought I'd throw something cartoony in there.

Hope you get what you are looking for!
