Winner - discented. Thanks to all who took part.

Hi,

I am looking for a header for nobelprizewinners.net

As the domain name says, this is going to be a site about nobel prize winners, and I want the header to reflect that.

The size should be around 770x80 px. Certainly not more than 770x120 px.

I am open to color schemes.

I can pay the winner with paypal, egold or thro NP.

This contest is open until 20th Aug.

Looking forward to working with the designers here

The Nobel prize medal is a registered trademark of the Nobel Foundation. I request all contestants not to use any nobel prize medals as part of the header.

Here's my go. Very very simple entry to start with, just wanted to get an idea if what you want i.e. something more complex or sleek and simple?

Thought maybe under the text "Buttons" could be added?

I do like the concept of having imgs of nobel prize winners.

Maybe you can try adding a few more, like in a collage?

Try adding a contrasting color. This looks a little dull.

That medal is really good, but the header looks a little too simple. Keep that img of the medal, and add something else to the rest of the header.

I like the first version better than the second. But somehow both have the look of a banner rather than a header.

Hazardous pain
This header looks very similar to official Noble prize website header. That medallion part is exactly the same.

Could you please make something more different and unique?

Suggestions: Less shiny. Remove that medallion and add more pics of winners.

discented: The text part of it is just perfect. You have added the .net, which makes it even better. The background isn't so good. Could you please add some pics of winners and remove the head of Alfred Nobel? I would also like to see a version with a different color stroke for the text, and without the double border.

Hazardous pain: I still like the golden yellow text. The left half of the header still needs something. It looks a little bare.

I don't really get it!! Why does it look like a banner? The only reason is the height of the header, and i think that you mentioned that you need it in that size!
