I went and watched the movie 'Her' …… have you seen it? and what did you think ?? …….:talk:

I don't know what it is with me, but it relates to the people who just can't put a good book down. Even if a movie is B-rated and I can tell within the first 2 minute intro, I want to see where it's going. I will watch the entire thing from start to finish. I usually realize I wasted 2 hours of my life. From time to time though, I tend to wonder why others wouldn't accept the script or produce it as it's a good, but poorly shot, movie.

I will probably end up watching Her and not liking it.

There is no doubt it is predictable but an interesting take on the near future i thought

I can actually see where this premise might happen, as can anyone who has ever identified with characters in a sim game or pocket pet. Things are becoming more realistic these days.

Me, I think there might come a day when fantasy might be preferable to the real thing for a lot of people.

Well, Scarlett, the OS, did hook him up with a real live girl to have sex with, to pretend it was Scarlett. So if that ever actually happened in real life, where your computer/OS/handheld/whatever was out there picking up girls for you, it would be a big seller.
