I have a bid $100 (domain was listed with this ask price) on Sedo for milliondollarkeyword.eu.com

.net was sold for $300K
.mobi was sold for $85K
.com.cn hyphenated was sold for $3,5K
.at was sold for $1,5K

How you would appraise such name? What would you do?

1) Sell? Because extension combo doesn`t have great value?
2) Counter offer? $xxx? $xxxx?
3) Auction? Could it work out considering timing - Christmas time and New Year?

Domain is listed at my Sedo parking account and was parked there, but just removed 2 weeks ago to test another parking company. Does it mean I must spend min $50 for Sedo fees or can I spend 10% fee if I remove it immediately back to Sedo NS?

It`s my first time to receive offer via Sedo, so any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

It is my nature to counter offer, so I recommend counter at mid $xxx, higher or lower, but the $1500 does seem to cap it. Anyway, I always try to counter, if even for just $100 more (preferably a lot more).

I agree. If you're reasonable in your counter-offer (eg. not 10 times more than he offered), he'll probably just counter your counter-offer with an offer higher than his first offer. Not many buyers (or sellers) give you their best price on the first offer -- just don't insult him by asking 10k or anything silly like that for it.

$500 would make a nice counter imho and try to get a sale around $250+.

When you say "domain was listed with this ask price" it means that this's the bid you were hoping to get, and you got it!
Anyway, I'd counter-offer with $350.

I would say any offer you get for a EU.com domain is a good offer, considering this is a subdomain. Also, I'm quite confused with your above stats, considering milliondollarkeyword.com is the only one that's registered. Did the owners of the other extention drop the names?

Most likely these domains didn`t drop. NET sale was private, other sales via Sedo, Afternic etc. I suppose names were acquired by domainers at first :) Anyhow, I made a counter-offer with $500, let`s see. Some .eu.com names were sold at $400-$600, so I guess price level should be basically ok. Thanks to everyone!

I think you did the right thing in this situation. You should walk away with $200+ if they are really serious about the domain. Good Luck!

I would prefer to work this offer through without posting the name, because this thread could be easily found with friendly help of Google :)

Their estimate indicates ยฃ35 - approx $70 (offer made in ยฃ). So, considering renewal costs I need to sell for more than $100 to avoid loss.
