Hi Guys,

I got an Offer on Sedo today and since I never sold any name on Sedo before, I have a few questions.

1). Does Sedo take 10% of the offer or is it minimum $50?
2). Say I send the name to auction now, is there a chance that the buyer can walk away? Is he allowed to do that?

Thanks.

1.) $50 Minimum if the domain is not parked with Sedo. Flat 10% with no minimum if the domain is parked.
2.) Well at the end of the auction the buyer has to pay. Sometimes if you push it to auction you will turn the buyer off and they won't pay. Send the name to auction if you think it will have other bids.

It is 10% of the price flat rate if the domain is parked on Sedo.

If the domain is not parked it is $50 minimum for most major extensions.

There are $100 and $150 minimums for some of the more obscure extensions.

WebLord could be seeing different pricing based on his location. I remember that for a long time everyone was pricing domains in $'s because a minimum $50 was much less than a 50 GBP fee, but was the same "50" value, but with the denomination changed based on the user's preferred currency, etc.

However, in the US it's a $50 minimum fee for most major extensions. The link WebLord used will work - it shows the $50 minimum for most extensions (.com/.net/.org/.co.uk/.org.uk/.me.uk/.info/.biz/.us/.tv/.li/.be/.st/.dk/.de/.at/.ch/.name/.ws/.mx/.in/.cc/.to/.eu/.mobi/.nl/.es), $100 for some others, and $150 for a few of the more obscure.
