Hi guys..

I'm new to this forum... I'm from Detroit. MI- I have never sold a domain name.

I have been offered $2500. for my domain a few months back, but then the stock market crashed and now he is offering me $1500. because of that.

I really had high intentions of making this my business- been working on it for 3 years- not to be in the business of domain selling. But life took a twist and now I need the money.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

my site domain is> www.slendersizeme.com

Counter offer $2000 and see where that takes you, at the end of the day if it is a good end user they will pay whatever they want to, but if you really want to get 2500 then counter and say its that or nothing!!! Sometimes its worth playing hardball, but they fact they have come back is a good indicator they really want it , all the best with it :)

I would tell them to meet in the middle and counter with $2000, if you have your domain at Sedo, I would suggest to tell them that for that price you will put it to auction.

Good luck and best regards,

any chance they've said that they want the domain appraised? if so, then it might be an appraisal scam.

Say 2500$ or 2000$,once again ask him,how much he likes to pay for this domain, based on his reply, take a decision.
