Has anyone here run a Sedo auction yet?

I just got an offer via Sedo on one of my domains, and I realized that I could now opt to try out a Sedo auction. Before I do that, though, I wanted to know if anyone here had tried it yet, and is it handled by Sedo in such a way that the buyer making the offer isn't alienated in some way by the process? That's one of my concerns about the whole thing...

Hi Dagersh,

I just started one today, my buyer was fine with it, most do know that they will end up in auction now.

Hope this helps.

So they're informed by Sedo when they make the offer that the auction is a possibility? That would be good, so at least they've been given the heads up.

I just tried my first ones today. Retirementplan(s).info if you want to follow them. The buyers offers were lower than I wanted, so I'm taking a chance that other bidders will enter and get the price where I really want it. If not, my buyer will be getting a pretty good deal.

I just hope sedo has some better way of promoting them. Currently, they don't appear to end up on the front page until near the end of the auction.
