Sedo auction advice please...

I see auction listings at sedo that have no current bid. I also see items that have not met their reserve yet. I thought the only way to put a name to auction was to choose to send a valid offer to auction, but obviously I am wrong.

Can anyone tell me how to send a domain to sedo auctions without having any valid offers first?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Gazzip,

As best I can figure from that page I need to be looking at the brokerage option. Send them an e-mail, etc. I'll try that.

Too bad there isn't a simple tool in the domain management panel to simply send it to auction. Oh well.

That is what is implied on their info page but I would be slow to describe the current items on auction without a bid as primo. Obviously they would disagree with me. Some of the names I want to try it with should easily make the list.

You need a Sedo Broker to take it to auction for you without offers.

Having some serious issues with Sedo at the moment. Fed up customers all over the forums, not just here on NamePros.

I put SweetDrinks.com in the auction at Sedo with no initial bid. I requested to Sedo what names they liked of mine and what names they would put in the auction without a reserve. Matt wrote back he liked Sweetdrinks.com alot and in a month he would throw it in, especially if I put no reserve. He did it in 35 days. I never got one bid until the last 5 minutes then I got 8. Then I requested to put SweetDrink.com in with no reserve for the New Years. The same day it went in. I again have zero bids in 4 days. It appraised at over $5,000.00. I hope I do better than the $145.00 I sold SweetDrinks.com for. ^_^. But I don't care, it is fun and Sedo is great! Go bid on my www.Sweetdrink.com guys.

Here is the ad I placed in the domain. You can pick it up possibly for 70.00.
Appraised at $5,148.00.
Very memorable high quality generic name with alot of potential for an easy to build, low maintenance, long term, lucrative website. Sweet Drink has 16,400,000 results in a google search.
