Several of my names at Sedo appear to have been flagged and unparked. When I try to re-list them, I get this message: "We're sorry, but we cannot allow you to add this domain to your account due to a potential violation of Sedo's policy against domains that include obscene or illegal subject matter."

The majority of my names are hand reg's that don't have any history to them. I've never built any websites with them because I don't even know how to build a website.

One of the names I tried re-listing today was a CCC.com that ended at auction yesterday and was immediately cancelled by Sedo due to security reasons.

I left a message with my Sedo rep yesterday and so far have still not had him return the call. I had an email go unanswered last week....Is anyone showing up for work at Sedo these days???

Sedo will respond to your inquiry, but sometimes the communication must go through a hierarchy of internal channels.

In my experience, you will get a response to these types of account related questions with 7 to 10 calendar days. The scales of justice at Sedo are sometimes rusty and creaky, but they are most often balanced and fair. IMO.

Yep. All the time.

It was a puzzle because they weren't obscene domains.

I got tired of their nonsense and finally just pulled all my domains from their site.

I'll never do business with them again.

Well I just may never do business with them again either after receiving this email >:(

Hello Amy,

Your domains were delisted from being sold due to the high number of cancellations, the buyers all appeared to be fake which indicated a worrying pattern. From a business perspective the risk of allowing you to continue selling is too high. I am not accusing you of being involved in anything untoward but it would appear that your domains were targeted, especially the three character number/letter .com domains you own.

This is not necessarily a permanent decision and we will be reviewing trends involving fraudulent activity. You are still able to park also.

Best regards,

I have NO idea who the winning bidders were in ANY of these auctions of mine, yet I"M the one being punished because SEDO can't seem to get control over fraudulent bidders on THEIR auction site!

I am so mad right now I can't even think straight! Apparently I will no longer be able to SELL at Sedo, but I can PARK at Sedo??? Hey Sedo, if I can't make any actual sales at your site, THEN WHY THE F*CK WOULD I WANT TO CONTINUE PARKING THERE??????????

And what's really amazing is that a huge majority of my names that were de-listed never even received ONE bid, let alone a fraudulent winning bidder!!

I've got one more CCC.com at auction right now, I guess I can kiss the $ from that sale goodbye as well. Thanks a whole f*cking lot Sedo.

Wowzers, Jingles,

sorry to hear it! I HAVE also had a few cancelled auctions (afterwards, based on bidder suspicion) but never anything like this. bummed me out each time as well. I suggest getting in touch with sedo here on the forum, giving them your info and full cooperation in showing that you were not involved in the questionable auctions, and that the domains that were removed "just because" are indeed not inappropriate if possible.

good luck! SP

I just sent a reply back to Tom. I basically told him that I find it completely unfair to treat a legitimate customer in this way and that it is not MY fault that they can't get a better control over these type of situations.

I really heavily on my domaining income (especially now), I'm sure as h*ll not going to do anything to jeopardize it. I've always made my payments and completed my pushes asap and handled ALL my sales and purchases in a legit manner, yet here I am basically being accused guilty before being proven innocent.

I'm thoroughly disgusted with the way this is being handled.
