Professional usernames and profile photos

In order to support the professional community at NamePros, usernames and profile photos must be appropriate for general audiences (all ages).

Not allowed

NamePros does not allow usernames or profile photos that include or are:

• Promotional, unless it's an identity to which you're demonstrably affiliated (e.g., brand name or domain name).
• Intellectual property (e.g., trademarks) unless you have unequivocal permission and either it is highly relevant to you or you're notably associated with it outside of NamePros.
• Public figures (e.g., celebrities, politicians, actors, or actresses) unless it is a photo of you or includes you with a consenting public figure in real life.
• Misrepresentation (e.g., impersonation)
• Offensive (e.g., racism or hate speech)
• Harmful (e.g., violence or disadvantage particular groups in society)
• Threatening
• Unpleasant (e.g., gory or gruesome)
• Explicit, provocative, or suggestive of mature content (e.g., nudity or sexually suggestive)

At NamePros, we encourage you to use a professional username and profile photo that represents you or your passion in a professional way.

• Logos of your company, website, product, service, project, etc.
• Works of art (e.g., sketches, drawings, or paintings)

• Human creations (e.g., offices, automobiles, or aircrafts)

Please do your best to choose a username and an image that professional audiences will agree can be described by many of these words:
