.tv Guess what I discovered? Creating a false market?

Getting the reg bug back with the under $13.00 reg fees and I decided to move on a keyword GEO that I have had my eyes on for awhile. I think the keyword “Discover” is excellent for .TV and I’m sure travel destinations will always have plenty of video content and high paying ads to monetize them. So if you missed out on getting some great GEO names, I think if you intend to develop, then the “Discover” names would be a great option.

I made 3 lists here.

The first are Discover.tv names that were already registered when I was searching for some good ones. This tells me that there is a market out there for these names. Also, in almost every case, the .com, .net, and .org versions were all reged and in many cases so was the .info and .biz.

The second list is names I just reged myself today.

The Third list is names that are still available as of this posting (I can’t reg them all)

So if you already have a discover name, post it here and let us know. Also let us know if you reg any or if you find any more available names.
Am I creating a false market? I don’t know, but my experience tells me that getting 15 of these names for a couple of hundred bucks is well worth the investment. Time will tell.

One of the things I like about Discover is that it is not only about travel, but can be real estate/local living as well.

I have a couple discover names I believe and love them.

Bulldog, sorry but being the channels guy I just had to say that when your running verticals on one portal channels is going be a monster.

Hey I think we can all admit this! We diversify our risks. Searching has so many key terms, he has a view and grabbed a lot key words for the future. Makes perfect sense to me. We all have our own theories, we all have diff types of domains. I own channel names, channels, a few e words, free words, law names, debt names, print cartridge names and etc.

With .tv being early stages time will tell with our choices.

Thanks in this! You got me thinking and I decided grab a few today. I emailed my rep and guess what, I told him grab discoverscotland.tv and someone grabbed it as my rep was away for a few minutes

I didn't go that crazy on this. Think I grabbed 7 names or so. I got DISCOVERMIAMI, discovernyc, discoverbahamas, discovermacau, and couple others.

I was shocked but I grabbed these. Off topic

You are my friend but I am going to have to veto your ruling on this prefix!!! LOL! I think there are a whole lot of great regs out there I dont believe this is one of them.

There is no inherent value to these names unless someone wants to brand them IMO. Of course I hope for the best and want you to make a killing on any name you buy.

No reason to say sorry. As I state above these names need to be devloped to be worth something, but if they are developed then they are great names and very brandable. Besides, I was just trying to create a false market
