Amazon are trying to buy a part of deliveroo which is a uk company

But in the uk deliveroo is very pooular and its brand is greay because it can deliver anything as its brand isnt just limited to food etc but this particular article. Has a lot of relevance to the domain name industry as a whole as although i hsve heard of doordash and grub hub etc in the uk its

But we in the uk dont keep telling those in the states that they should only use the food delivery firms in the uk because those in the ststes would get annoyed lol

But we in the uk have to listen to those in the ststes spouting such drivel about .com being the best when those in the uk are perfectly happy with the uk cctld and dont need a meaningless .com lol

I know some cases where a similar operator registered a domain and created a minisite for a client (as a part of the subscription) but when the partnership ended (client didn't want to use their system any more), they refused to hand over the domain or even let it go, effectively holding it hostage. I know some of the former clients that just moved on and got another domain for their business, but I also know some that paid a "ransom" to continue using the same domain because they used it in ads, business cards etc.
