.tv Grow up!!

It's time some of you grew up and stopped running around like headless chickens everytime somebody reports something negative about .tv.
Do you know what this looks like to outsiders who know very little about the extension?.... The impression is that nobody has a clue and that .tv is going to implode at any moment!!
Why are things being brought up time and time again, even when the answer has been given out numerous times? Either some are not listening or don't want to listen.
I am all for healthy debate but what is going on here is mass hysteria!!!
I have noticed that these things are being stirred up by a select few who jump on the negativity bandwagon every time it rolls on by, who seem to have an agenda to destroy this extension. I will not name names because you know who you are.
There are a lot of people on this forum that are really becoming pissed with this and it won't be long before there is an exodus if things continue. From what I see it appears that many have already left or rarely make an appearance these days.
I didn't join this forum to see my .tv's devalued by other's ranting about how bad things are in the .tv world when in reality they are not. Don't blame the ext for your mistakes, especially those that purchased 100's of crap names and are now crying that .tv sucks because they didn't sell.

This is really simple, if you don't like .tv stay away from the forum! Why are you here in the first place?

It's been going on far to long now.

Every post that highlights something positive is being trashed, regular members who used to contribute great threads are no longer posting,and we are seeing the same names bring up the same old issues time and time again.

It's almost comical to me.

It is beyond me how some people cannot see the outrageously ridiculous potential of a .tv.

.tv (to me) is the 1st extension that i have found that is as exciting (or even more so depending upon the name) as the .coms - although for slightly different reasons.

This is just my humble opinion here.

Don't blame the ext for your mistakes, especially those that purchased 100's of crap names and are now crying that .tv sucks because they didn't sell.

I have not read a SINGLE post from anyone saying that .TV sucks. Most of the frustration seems to be related to the total mismanagement of an extension they love. IMO.

To any newbie or outsider then this forum is full of reasons to avoid .TV due to some members only posting when negativity is the subject.
Positive threads get few posts, negativity is the only subject half of this forum cares for & it's killing this place.

I've tried to point this out a number of times but Len took the more direct aproach, good on you mate!

I think anybody that knows me on the forum knows that I am one of the most positive on .TV there is here. But as Micro states there is some negligent things going on between enom and verisign... and it would be remiss of me and others not to bring it to the attention of others... let that be good OR BAD experiences. I agree there is some here whom just trash the ext any chance they get.. and that should not have to be tolerated either, as long as it doesnt have validity... if the experience does have merit it should be looked at... even if it is negative.

I cant speak for anyone else but i did not intend to point you out as one who only posts about negativity. You have a genuine complaint so you should bring it up and follow it through, i hope you get it sorted.

I agree with Ronnie on this, you are not being singled out here, you had a valid question which deserved to be answered. My beef is with those that jump into threads (not just yours), and use it for their own gratitude in bashing the extension or trying to portray that there is something seriously wrong with .tv because of one persons problem.
This is now happening on a regular basis, it appears that no matter what you post about your thread gets hi-jacked by the naysayers.

Well if it is me, you are misunderstanding.....

I do like the .tv extension.

A lot.

That being said, I strongly believe it is being mismanaged by demand media/enom. And this forum in my opinion is EXACTLY the place that needs to be said. Newcomers should VERY much be aware of what they are getting into and some of the problems others have faced.

To simply bury those issues is not the right thing to do and I applaud Equity for making sure all the opinions are mainly open to the public rather then having a cheerleaders only hidden agenda.

AGAIN: I like .tv just fine.
I do NOT like how it is being "managed" by Enom et all.

i did post about my proplem with tv and google,but i do think it was a interesting thread...
got to hear both side of tv not just good.

Nobody has a problem with a negative post or thread but ONLY if there is a point to it, its in the right place, the same negative matter wont be used over & over & over again.......:bah:

So before almost everyone says "guess i cant say anything bad about .tv ever :p "

Its not about 1 negative post or comment, its not about hiding the truth, its not that we are sensitive about our names being hurt.... :bah:

i am getting tired of things as well....scaring the great members off and by the sounds of things and looks it looks like people like snoop and a couple others now are "winning" and getting the great .tv forum members out of here...

Jeff, I'm sure no one has any problem with people asking genuine questions looking for answers or help. My concern is the constant hi-jacking of threads with people having nothing constructive to say in response to the initial question and subsequently turning the thread around into a .tv bashing exercise for no reason other than to get their digs in.
