Today I got my first offer for a domain, but it was sent to my email. How can I make sure that I get paid? Where can I send the domain and get the money on the same site?

Also, he asked me for independent valuation of the market price and TM verification. Where is the best place to do so?

That is a scam. It's not a real offer. Sorry.

There are many threads about the old appraisal scam.

Keep on pushing. Be happy you didn't fall for it.

It's a scam. Ignore it. All they want is to charge you for a fake appraisal.

Oh dear, sorry to say your first offer is a scam - because the "buyer" asked for these - you pay, he gets that money and then disappears.

What is the domain name in question, just curious.

Anyone who is serious would have their own valuation ready.

I guess this scam must be working if they keep doing it.

" independent valuation" means you didn't get your first offer. Sorry

Dont be disheartened. You out-smarted the scammers by asking for advice and you've learnt something for free. You did everything right. Today was a good day.

Same old scam. Just say that the appraisal is fine with you but the appraisal service first has to buy a certificate from an appraisals certifier you can recommend.

It's 99% scam, but not 100. Tell him to appraise the domain himself somewhere (sedo, afternic and etc) and after that to contact you with an offer if he want to.

You can use Escrow.com to get paid.

@Kristofer - don't bother to reply in the future, just a waste of your time. My secret theory is if I reply to a spammer, they will know I actually exist and sell my email again to more of their spammer friends : grin :

Also, check out the niche thread for your domain for hints about value and selling:
