Counter $x,xxx and see what happens.

Counter in mid $x,xxx, most likely Jake comes back at $1K, final offer, your domain seems rather long, at which point you should accept.

So does GD apply the same terms to itself as it does to its clients on its platform?

Meaning is its offer binding for 7 days, regardless if it was accepted right away or countered first?

Always counter the first offer, but don't sell yourself short.

yes the initial offer is binding for 7 days (from the moment you are willing to sale the domain)

Hold on. You left out a LOT of information. You are welcome.

It looks like your domain was actually a site.

Based on the WhoIs it appears that you picked up the domain via GD auction recently and now the previous owner is trying to buy it back (maybe). It would explain why the inquiry has come in so fast. Or maybe another store had their eye on it and they don't know how to do domains. You never really know, but these would be my guesses.

Here is their Facebook URL:
https://www.facebook.com/caspian-oriental-rugs-131082383579784/

They don't look like a large cap company, just a carpet & flooring store in Brookline, New Hampshire.

If you are getting profit, I would counter with $1200 and let the GD rep work for you so that you at least net $400. Never take the first offer in my experience.

Based on the domain itself, bro you are fortunate to even have an offer for a domain with a very small audience.

Good luck! Let us know how this works out for you!

The buyer did not raise his offer beyond $400, so finally I accepted $400 and transaction is now complete. Though ROI is not bad. ( buy price $21 , sell price $400)

Today I sold another domain **********pettoday.com at godaddy for $395. Buy price $22

If you can repeat those sales once a week for 1 year you'll have earned $375x52 = a cool $20k/yr :)

Congrats!
So just to make it clear, were these domains registered or listed at Godaddy? Or it was just inbound from a broker.

For the second domain, it was listed as godaddy premium listing.
For first domain, offer was inbound

NB: both the domains were godaddy closeout purchase.
