Hi guys, I received this email today about one of my domains, does it seem like a real offer? The address matches to 123-reg's office.

Hello!

I have a request from my buyer for buying zlunk.com.

My client has six-figure budget for 30-35 domains.

Please email me your desired price. My fee is paid by the buyer so my services are free for you.

How can we transfer money to you (your preferred payment method)?

I help top domain investors to find good names on the market. If you have other names to be sold please email me the list.

Regards,

Morgan Douglas, Ph. D.

If he ask for you to get ur domain appraised then is the typical appraisal scammer.

How many threads will there be on people getting scam emails?
I get them, I delete them (usually they end up in my spam folder).
If people would read threads before posting.

Go ahead.. he will ask for appraisal certificate.. tell him that you will provide him within a day.. meanwhile ask him as much silly questions as you can.. like can he pay in cash or should you send certificate by post?

And take a white paper, write something like this by hand

this is to certify that the domain name xxxxx.com is valued at $xx,xxx by the research conducted by our professional appraisers.
and send him that in zip file..

Torture him emotionally ..

No point in beating a dead horse here really. It's more then likely a scam. Like Iowadawg stated most of this BS ends up in the spam folder.

He will be ready to pay even 10 million but you need to get the appraisal certificate form a specific website. That's more important for him than paying 10 million to you :laugh::laugh:
