Google Search Hacks ?

HI All

Just playing around tonight searching with google and found this not sure how new it is.. but here goes.

if you want to find the phone number or address of a person in the USA.. and you know their first name or both and state.. or just their phone number..

go to google.com and type in..

phonebook:FirstName LastName State

so a search would look like this for example. if I was looking for a Bill Smith in CA


phonebook:Bill Smith CA

or if I knew just the phone number.. I would use..

phonebook858) 274-4708

Ah, that's really cool. I didn't know about that, it would have been handy in the past.

I often use the minus sign when I search for things, but that's much more well known than a phone book thing, I'm sure.

I generally type out the problem rather than use the actual signs.
