Google question

This is probably a real n00b question... apologies in advance :red:

when I search "debs" (yes...even in inverted commas) the results show three for DEBS and then 3 for "DEB" before going back to the DEBS results...

But if I do the same for DOGS, DABS, DIBS, NOBS... etc...all you get is the results for those searches...

Why would that be...? the DEB abbreviated searches are not "sponsored".... annoys the hell out of me....I only just make the first page of google when I could be result 4 or 5!

It's doing it because there are 4million results for 'debs' and 42million for just 'deb'

This is not the case with your other search words.

ok then... I would 100% understand if it worked that way for all searches

eg

Fab has 34,600,000
Fabs has 2,060,000

but when I search Fabs there is no secondary listing for Fab
