Hey guys I got a keywords question. For a new site what would be better.

Group 1
Basic Blackjack Strategy 1,885 overture results and 1 million google results
Online Casino Betting 1,700 overture results and 2 million google results

Group 2
Online Casnio 957,504 overture results and 29 million google results
free slots 131,634 overture results and 8 million google results

With group 1 theres not as many searches but the compitition is also a lot less and my thinking is it will be a lot easier to get to the top of google with these keywords than group 2 where theres a lot more searches but theres so much compitition a new site will never see those searches.

Anyway I was just looking some feedback from the seo experts around here

Thanks

The best is to go for the 1 that would be easiest to obtain results. Of course there is no point getting to number 1 position for a keyword that returns no traffic. However if the keyword has a decent amount of traffic then go for it.

Once you have established yourself with those keywords and can maintain your position you can then start aiming for some of the more sought after keywords.
